Description

The Cosh function calculates the hyperbolic cosine of real numbers.

Input

The angle is given in degrees (full circle = 360°) or radians (full circle = 2 · π). The unit of measurement used is set using the Degrees or Radians menu.

Definition

The hyperbolic cosine (cosh) is an even and differentiable function defined by the following formula:

\(\displaystyle cosh(x)=\frac{e^x+e^{-x}}{2} \)

Where x is the value of the angle, which is given as radians.
