Autofocus is switched on by default. That means the focus is set back to the input line after each click on a button. You can easily switch back and forth between typing on the keyboard and buttons on your laptop or desktop.
This can be annoying on mobile devices with touchscreens because every time you click on a button the keyboard is 'extended'. That's why the autofocus can be switched off with the 'AF' button at the top.

The calculator calculates with large integers. This means that no decimal numbers can be entered. The comma is reserved as a separator between parameters of functions.
Variables are defined by an assignment: x=12.
The defined variables are displayed in the top window.
The windows for results and variables can be changed in size.
Valid operators are +, -, *, / and ^ for exponents, e.g.: 4^2. The characters × and ÷ for multiplication and division are also accepted. The operator % calculates the remainder of a division (modulo). The size of an exponent is limited to 4096.
Using the 'left' and 'right' buttons and the corresponding cursor keys on the PC keyboard can be moved back and forth in the input line to make changes. Use the 'top' and 'bottom' buttons to scroll through the history to return previous input to the command line. Using the cursor keys on the PC keyboard this is not possible; Depending on the browser type, different older entries are displayed.
