HMean Function

Description

The function \(HMean\) calculates the harmonic mean of the available data.

The harmonic mean is one of several average types. Typically, it is suitable for situations where the average of the rates is desired. The harmonic mean can be expressed as the reciprocal of the arithmetic mean. A simple example is the harmonic mean of 2 and 8

\(\displaystyle \left(\frac{2^{-1} + 8^{-1}}{2} \right) = \frac{2}{\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{8}}=3.2 \)
