Calculation of the cut-off frequency of a capacitor-resistor circuit
This function can be used to calculate the cutoff frequency of a capacitor and a resistor, or the capacitance or resistance at a given frequency. Two of the values must be known in order to calculate the third.

The frequency is calculated according to the following formula. The resistance \(\displaystyle R \) and the capacity \(\displaystyle C \) must be known.
\(\displaystyle f=\frac{1}{2 ·\ π · R · C }\)
The resistance can be calculated using the following formula. The frequency \(\displaystyle f \) and the capacity \(\displaystyle C \) must be known.
\(\displaystyle R=\frac{1}{2 ·\ π · f · C }\)
The capacity is calculated according to the following formula. The frequency \(\displaystyle f \) and the resistance \(\displaystyle R \) must be known.
\(\displaystyle C=\frac{1}{2 ·\ π · f · R }\)
