Description of the result formating of the RedCrab Calculator


Set the result format
In the Mathbox toolbar, the left menu button changes the format in which results are displayed.
Set the result formats
You can choose the following formats:

  • Fixed Point
  • Floating Point
  • Scienfic Exponent - The base always has 1 digit before the comma
  • Technical Exponent - The exponent is always a multiple of 3
  • Prefix - Instead of the exponent, a prefix is displayed
  • Hexadecimal
  • Octal
  • Binary
  • Date and Time

The format setting may be different for each formula (or box). If a new task is entered, ie a new box opens, the last used setting will be used as default.

Changes to the setting are only effective for the currently activated box. By clicking on the sync button in the middle of the toolbar, the change can be applied to all other boxes.
