Write a root symbol


The root symbol is written with the keys Ctrl + 1.

Select the root area

  • Input the root symbol with the keys Ctrl + 1

  • Then select the area to the right of the symbol to be included in the root

  • Then click the root symbol

 

  • To change the root area, select the new area and click on the root symbol again

  • With a double-clicking on the root symbol, the area will reset

  • To select the root area with the keyboard, hold down the Shift key and move the cursor from the end of the range to the root symbol
