Insert images from Clipboard

RedCrab supports inserting of images into the worksheet. The pictures can be inserted from the clipboard or from a file. How to insert an image from the clipboard is described in the following paragraph

• Select an area on the worksheet in the position where the image should be inserted

• Click the button Image on the menu ribbon group Insert to insert the image from the clipboard
  

• The image is inserted in the original size, regardless of the size of the selection

• You can change the size of the image by dragging the image border

Load an image from file

Alternate you can load image files into the worksheet How to insert an image from a file is described in the following paragraph

• Select an area on the worksheet in the position where the image should be inserted

• Open the Application menu and click Import / Image file

• RedCrab imports the image formats *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif, *.png and *.tif

• The image is inserted in the original size, regardless of the size of the selection

• You can change the size of the image by dragging the image border

The image toolbar

The image toolbar contains two buttons to reset the image to the original size or the original height-to-width ratio. To change the height-to-width ratio, the small measure is maintained and adjusted the longer measure.

• The button Original size (1) resets the image to the original size

• The button Aspect ratio (2) sets the image to the original height-to-width ratio
